Application Field
Rail transit topcoat
The water-based polyurethane topcoat for rail transit vehicles is composed of two parts: water-based hydroxy acrylic resin and polyisocyanate. The polyurethane polymer coating formed by the reaction of the two contains a considerable amount of urethane bonds. In order to ensure the mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and weather resistance of polyurethane coatings, water-based hydroxy acrylic resins with high hydroxyl content should be selected, as more hydroxyl groups can react with polyisocyanates to generate more urethane bonds and higher crosslinking density.
