In order to ensure the mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and weather resistance of polyurethane coatings, water-based hydroxy acrylic resins with high hydroxyl content should be selected, as more hydroxyl groups can react with polyisocyanates to generate more urethane bonds and higher crosslinking density.
